President Joe Biden argued for an “assault weapons” ban and asked, “Who in God’s name needs a firearm with 100 rounds in the chamber?” during his speech at the Human Rights Campaign’s National Dinner this week.
There was no gun mentioned by Biden that had 100 rounds in its barrel. He only said, “That weapon was intended for one thing…to kill people.”
Biden said, “As long as I am in office, I will not stop until we get it done once again.” He was emphasizing that the federal government had already banned “assault weapons” before.
After that, he switched to discussing the more than 1,000 Israelis who lost their lives as a result of the Hamas terror strikes, pointing out that “both grandparents and children were kidnapped and being held hostage by Hamas.”
Biden didn’t say anything about the fact that the number of Israelis who own their own guns is much smaller than the number of Americans who do.
Breitbart News pointed out that the Second Amendment protects Americans’ right to keep as well as bear arms, but Israelis don’t have that protection. According to the BBC, “only about 2% of Israelis own guns.” In contrast, the New Jersey Gun Violence Research Center, located at Rutgers University recently found that more than 60% of Americans own guns.
Like before, Israel wants more guns in the hands of ordinary citizens after the Hamas strikes. Ten thousand assault weapons will be given to civilian security teams in border towns as part of this attempt. They also want to speed up the process Israelis have to go through in order to obtain a gun license.
In the U.S., Biden is going in the exact opposite direction and wants to get rid of AR-15 and AK-47-style weapons.
The news outlet Breitbart News said on June 21, 2022, that there were almost 25,000 AR-15 and AK47-style firearms in use in the United States. A lot of AR and AK weapons are out there. The National Shooting Sports Foundation said there were greater numbers of AR/AK-style weapons in circulation “than Ford F-Series trucks that are on the road.”
Brain Dead OBiden would be a lot better off if he forgets about our guns, and start doing his frigging job, closing the border, quit sending Billions to other Countries, and opening the Pipe line.

Actually I was wondering where did they happen to come up with that statistic. like all the other surveys the demokrauts release the numbers are pretty much B.S. I know of many who have multiple AR-15 rifles/pistols or at least they did until that terrible Boating accident. seriously though I think your estimate is probably closer to the real number, all though it may even be a little low if I had to guess. The bottom line is they already tried the weapons ban (I refuse to call them Assault Weapons, they are not) and FBI statistics showed without a doubt that it DOES NOT WORK. We had Assault Weapons when I was in the Military, select fire safe, semi and fully automatic or 3 shot burst. I wish we had been able to carry Assault Weapons when I was a Police Officer, we needed them, but a 16 shot semi automatic 9mm pistol and a 12 gauge pump shotgun was all we had. The first year I started they took Aluminum mag lights and our semi auto rifles away from us. too aggressive according to the brass. of course when they worked the road they had 38 revolvers and call boxes. try getting shot at by a perpetrator with a UZI or a Mac 10 or a tec 9 all you can do is find or pray for cover and a reload break where you return fire and hopefully end the confrontation. Now with all the new criminals in the Country it’s only going to get worse for Americans. Joe Biden has truly opened Pandora’s box and there’s no telling what the criminals, cartels, drug dealers and Terrorist have in store for us.
