Donald Trump has been informed that the DOJ will prosecute him “next week,” according to sources.
According to reports, the former president is going to be accused of “gathering, transmitting, or losing” national security material by Jack Smith, the special counsel appointed by current AG Merrick Garland to look into the previous president.
A federal grand jury may present Special Counsel Jack Smith’s indictment to Trump as soon as next week.
“Trump’s team was just notified by Smith’s prosecuting team that the allegations against him include a breach of 18 US Code Chapter 37 Section 793, which forbids the ‘gathering, transmitting, or storing’ of national defense material. False statements as well as obstruction of justice are allegedly other allegations under consideration.”
Take “early next week” with a grain of salt since many claimed timetables were shown to be inaccurate prior to Alvin Bragg’s indictment of Trump in Manhattan. Things might alter since the grand jury is still theoretically in charge of the case.
No matter what day the indictment is announced, the allegations match up with earlier rumors that the DOJ is concentrating on a recorded discussion between Trump and Mark Meadows’ attorneys. In it, Trump purportedly discussed a government report on an Iranian invasion and acknowledged that the report was still secret. The Department of Justice is preparing to do what many people (including me) anticipated and were afraid of, which is to wait to prosecute Trump so that the trial would take place after he has potentially won the Republican nomination. Biden should be in indicted ass well, because he had secret files hidden in many places. Why is President Trump being hounded for the same things that Biden did and he goes free? Where is the Justice here? The present government should be ashamed to the max for their endless efforts to bring down President Trump. He did a lot of good for this country and had the respect of foreign leaders, whereas Biden is just laughed upon.
Wake up America and see where this country is heading, certainly in the wrong direction. Look around you and see how people are suffering. Can’t even by a decent bag full of groceries without having to pay “an arm and a leg”.
