Another Red-State Fights Back Against The Worst Liberal Agenda

A split federal appeals court panel decided this week that Tennessee may carry out its prohibition on transgender surgery along with related medical procedures for minors while a case against the legislation is being heard in court.

Representative William Lamberth (R) of Tennessee’s 44th House District remarked on Twitter this week, “I am grateful to the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals for affirming what Tennesseans already are aware of: Kids are unable to provide consent to currently experimental medical treatments or medications that destroy the health of their bodies.”

“Although this ruling is highly encouraging, it is merely one victory in the left’s effort to manipulate and hurt a generation of innocent youngsters. If necessary, we will pursue this battle to defend children all the way to the @SCOTUS. Excellent work, @AGTennessee, and team.”

According to Reason, the Tennessee legislation now in force forbids surgical treatments and the use of hormones or drugs that block puberty for the goal of gender transformation.

“Both sides share the same anxiety, but they express it in different ways. One side claims such operations lead to irreversible health hazards, while the other contends that the absence of such procedures leads to irreversible problems. Realizing that not every decision must be made by judges helps to make it acceptable to select between the two sides,” Chief Judge Jeffrey Sutton wrote.

Judge Sutton added that life-tenured federal courts “should be cautious of withdrawing a difficult and novel subject of a medical argument from the fluctuating waters of democracy by considering a largely unchangeable federal constitution to rule in the field.”

Judge Thapar concurred with Sutton’s assessment that the law’s implementation had been improperly halted by the lower court. In a separate opinion, Judge White joined the majority in part and dissented in part.

“Last night in the 6th Circuit, Tennessee families scored a major victory. Our statute prohibiting the use of gender-affirming practices on minors has now been reinstated by the Court!” House Speaker for Tennessee Cameron Sexton (R) posted this week.

The prohibition, which was supposed to go into force on July 1st, now in effect. When a lower court concurred with the American Civil Liberties Union of Tennessee, the prohibition was postponed. According to The Hill, ACLU-TN claimed that the measure violated parental rights and was unconstitutional.

According to the American Civil Liberties Union of Tennessee, this has become the first federal court to approve such a prohibition; other courts have unanimously rejected such restrictions in Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Indiana, and Kentucky.

Samantha and Brian Williams of Nashville, together with their 15-year-old daughter, two other unnamed families, and Dr. Susan N. Lac filed the lawsuit on their behalf.

  1. If you believe there is more than two gender then you need to show proof! Or you just a dumb nuts! It doesn’t matter if it animals or a human being, it only Two gender from the beginning of this world!

  2. Sequential Hermaphroditism, the ability to switch gender/sex does occur in a limited number of vertebrate and invertebrate species all are Lower Life Forms, certain mollusks, insects, fishes, and amphibians. It does not occur in Mammals at all. When SH occurs, it’s always in response to Environmental Stressors of the population. It’s is not because the species “Thinks” it’s a different gender.
The primary purpose of Sexual Congress of all species is Procreation. The perpetuation of the species Pleasure is secondary. Species that participate in Same Sex Behavior, do not procreate. Thus Homosexuality in a Species is an Evolutionary Dead end. It’s Self Extinction. The Trans Movement is also Self Extinction through Mutilation, and removal of functioning Sex Organs in exchange for a facade of Sex Organs that do not function as intended. Faux Vaginas and Faux Penises.
This whole LGBT Movement is Self Extinction, period.
