The absurd contradictions of American leftism have gotten seriously out of hand ever since that little regional spat in Eastern Europe got underway a couple of weeks ago. This does prove that leftists understand the issues that they’re fighting against here in America. They just don’t care that their policies are bad for the USA.
Look at how many Democrats in the media and Congress became so concerned about Ukraine’s sovereign borders once Russian tanks started showing up. They suddenly started telling us that borders were sacred. Ukraine has every right to defend its borders, because without secure borders, some of the Ukrainian people could get hurt!
Really, guys?
And when the government started handing out fully automatic AK-47s to any housewife or child who showed up, the Democrats were suddenly in favor of gun rights for Ukrainians. They suddenly started telling us that Ukrainians have every right to have guns to defend their families, neighbors and nation. It’s a God-given right!
We haven’t heard a single argument from a leftist that no one in Ukraine needs a fully automatic AK-47 for deer hunting.
