Where is Charlton Heston When the World Really Needs Him?

This meme makes a great point: Pharoah went through ten plagues in ancient Egypt and then still rode his chariot down to the beach. (Didn’t end well for him, but still – that was pretty hardcore.) We have one plague that almost no one is even vaguely worried about, and the whole world freaks out?

Have you seen Canada lately, for example? If you travel there right now and don’t have a negative COVID test in your pocket, or proof of vaccination, they lock you up in a forced quarantine for two weeks. If the cops catch you outdoors in some parts of Canada without a mask, they beat you with sticks and choke you out before arresting you.

Meanwhile, none of the leaders imposing these dumb plague rules on all healthy people don’t actually follow the rules. Every single day, some liberal governor or teachers’ union flack gets caught running down to Florida to work on their tans or gets caught in a restaurant or hair salon that’s supposed to be shut down.
Losers.

Credit where credit is due: Pharoah didn’t let no plagues shut down his economy.
