Good grief! As of this writing, it’s now been 50 days and counting without Joe Biden holding a press conference or even answering a single, unscripted question from a reporter. Is there anyone left in the entire world who is confused about what’s really going on?
Donald Trump was the most open, honest and transparent US President that we’ve had since the invention of television. It didn’t matter where he was or what he was doing. If a reporter barged into the room to ask him a question, he’d answer it. They didn’t usually like the answer they got – but they got an answer, and they were allowed to ask questions.
Nowadays, reporters are kicked out of the room as soon as Joe Biden starts to dodder away after delivering some short, scripted remarks from the teleprompter. “No questions!” And his handlers always have to remind him to pick up his mask and put it on.
(And why is Biden still wearing a mask anyway? Didn’t he already get the Trump vaccine?)
