During a town hall meeting this week that played on FNC’s “Hannity,” former President Donald Trump said that if Vice President Kamala Harris is chosen president, there will be a huge influx of illegal immigrants.
As the GOP candidate for president put it, “100 million people could come into the country if the Democrats win in 2024.”
“We never thought there would be ports where 20 million people could come into our country,” he said. “A lot of bad people from around the world are coming to our country. Not just from South America, but from all over the world. They are coming from prison. No one has ever seen them come in at these numbers. They’re getting out of jail. They’re letting prisoners come from all 100 countries, which is almost 180 countries over the last few months (170). A lot of people don’t know that you have that many countries.”
Trump went on, “They’re cleaning out their cells and jails. They are cleaning out their mental hospitals and asylums for the crazy. They are emptying—pulling out the sickest people. And they’re all pouring into the US. There have been more terrorists coming into the US in the last three years than in the last fifty years, I think. It’s like nothing else ever seen. These people are awful. They’re really dangerous. They are ruining our country with what they have done to it. We can’t let this happen.”
“If they win, there will be 100 million people, not 20 million,” he said. “Social Security will not pay you. That’s it, no Medicare for you. You won’t already have anything. By looking at the numbers, you can see that Social Security and Medicare are being filled up with illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. Many of them are in jail or come from very bad places. Sean, we’re not going allow them to destroy our country.”
