Pride Month Has Barely Started and the Meme-Makers Are Already Sick of It

China is preparing its citizens for a very real war with the United States right now. What’s the US military doing? Celebrating Pride Month, obviously! The US Marine Corps actually tweeted a picture of a combat helmet with rainbow-colored ammunition to mark the occasion. Um… guys? Bigger things to worry about, maybe?

The corporate world is just as bad with all of the sudden rainbow branding and advertising. It’s so tiresome that the internet is suddenly awash with memes like this one expressing a general sense of already being exhausted by Pride Month.

Way too many rainbows. And the irony is that the companies will simply take all the rainbow stuff down on July 1st because they don’t actually give a rip. They just don’t want some Twitter mob trashing their brands, so they’re doing the appeasement thing in hopes that the crocodile eats them last.

As this meme notes, the whole LGBTQAirForce movement sort of skipped over the whole “Live and let live” motto that our society afforded them. The backlash that will eventually come as a result of this will be ugly. But everyone sees it coming.
