Liberal Meme Accidentally Admits Obamacare is a Failure

This content creator is probably regretting the wording here at this point, but two seconds is too late in the meme-o-sphere.

The intent here is clearly to disparage America’s Second Amendment traditions, and suggest that Americans care more about their gun rights than a supposed “right” to free healthcare.

Disregarding the immorality of claiming someone else’s labor to be a right, as Rand Paul famously put it during a hearing alongside socialist Bernie Sanders, let’s focus in on the last two words of this meme: “health control”.

Of course, we can probably assume that the content creator behind this meme likely doesn’t hold a favorable view for a privatized healthcare system. But, doesn’t nationalizing healthcare effectively amount to implementing unprecedented control on the industry?

The disastrous effects of universal healthcare have been well-documented on this site and others. What’s worth pointing out here is that it is impossible to argue against “control” when you’re effectively calling for more of it.
