As North Carolina is ready to pass its own law protecting unborn children, VP Kamala Harris will visit the state to encourage pro-abortion advocates on the first anniversary of the ruling by the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade.
This week, a White House representative revealed to The Hill that Harris will visit Charlotte to give a “major speech” that would contrast the pro-abortion policies of the Biden administration with Republican efforts to enact ostensibly “extreme legislation.” Additionally, Harris is anticipated to reaffirm the White House’s support for a federal statute that would codify the so-called “right” to abortion. As stated in the report:
“The ongoing conflict over access to abortion at the state level is presently centered in North Carolina. Last month, the state Legislature decided to override a veto from Governor Roy Cooper (D) that would’ve prevented the implementation of a ban on abortions beyond 12 weeks of pregnancy. The override causes the statute to take effect on July 1st.”
According to the White House, Harris will participate in a roundtable conversation that will be broadcast on television and moderated by Joy Reid of MSNBC to commemorate the Dobbs anniversary.
The Roe v. Wade judgment from 1973 was overturned by the Supreme Court on June 24 of last year, 5-4, finding in the Dobbs case that the Constitution doesn’t give women a right to abortion. This decision returned control of abortion laws and restrictions to state legislatures. Since then, a number of Republican-led states have sought to enact legislation that restricts abortion and holds those involved in abortion crimes responsible.
According to the article, Harris has “emerged as the White House’s primary voice on the matter” and spent time “hosting advocates and reproductive healthcare officials for meetings as well as connecting with state legislators” who support abortion.
According to a May Axios article, Harris was “quietly assembling a small, outside circle of women supporters to help enhance her role as the White House’s top warrior” against Republican-led legislation that forbids abortion on unborn children. 14 women, among them Butler of EMILY’s List, Alexis McGill Johnson from Planned Parenthood, as well as Mini Timmaraju of NARAL, met with Harris, according to a Democratic person familiar with the issue who spoke to the news source.
The troubled vice president’s ratings of approval have fluctuated between the low 40s and the mid-30s throughout most of President Biden’s initial term. EMILY’s List is also ready to spend over ten million dollars to support the embattled vice president.
Spend that money on a waste of air. Kamala Harris is the poorest excuse for a vp this country has ever known. This will not go over well and her ratings will fall further. But go ahead an waste 10 million.

I don’t even know why Kamala Harris is VP. She has no concept of anything. Is brainless. Imagine, rooting for abortion! It blows my mind. That is murder as far as I can see. I wish I could go back and have the 3 babies I lost. All 7 months; my youngest was 2 months early and Thank God, she survived.
