Hillary Clinton Issues New Theory About Trump And Jan. 6th

Hillary Clinton said on MSNBC on Thursday that Trump “enjoyed” watching the riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Clinton said, “When I got back to my house, I didn’t know what was going on. You see, Chelsea, her husband Mark, and their kids were living with us during COVID. Bill was sitting at our breakfast table with Chelsea standing next to him, and they had the TV on, but I had no idea what they were watching.”

As she went on, “There were pictures of the Capitol with people fighting with police and climbing up the walls. And, you know, Bill told me there were rioters who were trying to stop the congressional approval of the election because they thought that was Trump’s order. They were in full riot mode.”

Clinton went on, “And you know, Bill had his hands over his head because he couldn’t believe it. I looked at the place where I had worked for eight years and was shocked and sickened. My daughter, who has grown up in politics and has met people from different parties but always found ways to talk to everyone, loved how George and Barbara Bush treated her as a child, so we have very fond memories of the peaceful change of power, and we were just filled with deep worry and despair.”

“Like many Americans, we watched that happen all day and thought, ‘Where was the president?'” she said. Who told them to stop this terrible attack on our democracy? There they were, of course, because he was enjoying what he was watching on TV. That’s the only result that makes sense, and he held out hope that his attempts to scare people and stifle the proper constitutional process might work.”
