Ocasio-Cortez, for those who don’t remember, is an actress. She literally auditioned for the role of “congresswoman” with Barack Obama’s political action committee. She was selected because she was a good actress. The part could just as easily have gone to some other actor or actress.
A lot of people on the right get upset about her because of her radical socialist policies, and because she appears to have a massive social media following. (Spoiler alert: Half of her followers are bots.) We don’t get upset with her, because she’s a source of endless meme fodder.
