Fauci’s Secret Back Channel Exposed

The House Select Subcommittee on the COVID-19 pandemic requested access to Dr. Anthony Fauci’s personal phone and email records.

In a post on X, the members defended their request, saying that they thought the documents would reveal misconduct by Fauci and his group, particularly that he had concealed information from FOIA inquiries using a backchannel.

Committee members added papers to their statement that “new evidence reveals that Dr. Fauci used a secret back channel to discuss official COVID-19 material.”

Dr. David Morens, Fauci’s senior adviser, allegedly mentioned a “‘hidden’ back channel” in communications in an email that the committee was able to obtain.

In the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, Fauci was a key member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force and the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases from 1984 to 2022.
