Antifa’s threats to carry out arson assaults against Tesla locations were the final straw.
According to Summit News’ Steve Watson, journalist Andy Ngo tweeted the facts, saying that although some accounts have been suspended, others are active.
The banning of the Antifa accounts occurred after Musk asked Twitter users last week what the most critical issues were that needed to be addressed. Ngo was one of the most popular users to react to Musk’s question, pointing out that Antifa organizes its insurrectionist activity on Twitter.
Musk also emphasized the “disturbing” nature of Twitter’s prior ownership’s policies regarding Antifa accounts. Specifically, Twitter did nothing to prevent these accounts from encouraging and arranging violent behavior on the network.
Whatever reservations people have about Elon Musk, he is at least bringing a somewhat impartial style of leadership to Twitter, where free speech is increasingly safeguarded and legitimately violent organizations such as Antifa are being penalized for their anti-social behavior.
In a perfect world, right-wingers would have complete control of all these platforms, dismissing leftist degenerates as they saw fit. Finally, bad behavior must encounter both private and public repercussions.
