Following his first full month on the presidential campaign trail, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s (R) net approval rating hit a record low, according to a Civiqs survey.
According to a Civiqs survey conducted in December, DeSantis had a net favorability rating of -1, with 46% of respondents finding him to be favorable as opposed to 47% who considered him to be negative.
DeSantis’s net favorability rating as of June 26 is -22, with just 34% of registered voters preferring him and 56% having a negative impression. Nine percent expressed uncertainty.
DeSantis’s standing with independents has substantially declined. Only 33% of independents now have a positive opinion of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, down from +11 in December, when they made up the decisive voting bloc. Additionally, the study indicated that 13% of independents are still unclear.
As DeSantis officially began running for president a little over a month ago, his net favorability rating has dropped to an all-time low.
43,769 registered voters were polled by Civiqs between May 18 and June 26.
The Republican front-runner for president, former President Donald Trump, however, had an all-time high net favorability rating, according to a survey issued last month.
I still stand by him. He’s the only one that has the guts to do what is right morally
I agree !
Absolutely agree!!!
This deplorable backs President Trump all the way. If someone else gets the rep. nominee then I’ll have to vote for them.
I want Trump/DeSantis for 4 years, then DeSantis 8! Perhaps by then they will have been able to clean the swamp!!
I’m with Betty 100%
