Democrats Freakout After Judge Orders Pelosi Footage To Be Released

After a court rejected prosecutors’ bid to keep the security tape hidden, it may be made public as soon as Thursday. The video shows the hammer attack on the husband of Nancy Pelosi the former U.S. House Speaker.

Last year’s assaults’ 911 call will also be made public.

Judge Stephen M. Murphy of the Superior Court of San Francisco decided on Wednesday that there was no justification for preventing the tape from being viewed by the general public, particularly after the prosecution had shown it in plain view during a pretrial hearing last month.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Judge Stephen Murphy took the side of a group of media organizations who requested access to the dramatic video in addition to other evidence against the alleged attacker David DePape. These organizations included the Associated Press, the Los Angeles Times, and the New York Times.

The District Attorney’s Office in San Francisco reportedly gave all court evidence to Murphy after a hearing, according to the AP.

Murphy requested that it be released to the media by the court clerk’s office, and that may happen as soon as Thursday.

The San Francisco District Attorney’s Office first declined to give copies of such material to press media.

The intruder came into Nancy and Paul Pelosi’s San Francisco home on October 28 while he was asleep and attacked him with a hammer, according to Breitbart News.

Since then, prosecutors have filed charges against David DePape, 42, in connection with the assault.

Last month, DePape entered a not-guilty plea to six counts, that included attempted murder. DePape reportedly told the police that there was “evil in Washington” and that he intended to hurt Nancy Pelosi since she was next in line for the presidency.
