Biden’s Latest Gun Grab Plans Has One Republican Furious

Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie strongly reacted after President Joe Biden gave an executive order concerning background checks, by pointing out that the president is pushing for gun control measures that have failed before.

By using executive actions, the Biden administration has already got around Congress. One such action was telling A.G.Merrick Garland to get the US as close to creating a background verification system used worldwide as possible.

According to AWR Hawkins of Breitbart News, “one of the reasons Congress has not enacted universal background checks is because a gun registry is needed for universal checks to function.” The National Shooting Sports Foundation stated in a nearly two-year-old article that the “glaring issue with universal background checks is that they are ineffective without also having a mandatory nationwide firearm registry,” which highlights this unsettling fact.

The problems of red flag gun orders and an investigation into the marketing techniques used by gun manufacturers were all covered by Biden’s executive order.

The AP noted that Joe Biden’s order also “requires federal law enforcement to provide better reporting of ballistics data for a clearinghouse that allows local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to match the shell casings with guns.”

Massie emphasized how Biden’s obsession with the ballistic fingerprinting of firearms was basically a focus on “science fiction,” according to a FOX News report.

Massie noted that Maryland had ballistic fingerprinting standards for a brief period of time but later repealed them due to the state’s excessive spending on the program which had no discernible impact on crime. The ballistic fingerprinting initiative cost the state of Maryland $5 million in total but produced no notable results.

Additionally, Massie pointed out that California already has laws requiring gun storage, red flag gun confiscation orders, universal background checks, and other civilian disarmament strategies that have failed to reduce gun crime.

He said, “California has some of the strictest gun laws and has a higher-than-average rate of mass public shootings per capita.”

“In reality, Biden visited Los Angeles County,” said Massie. “You certainly won’t be able to obtain a permit for carrying a concealed firearm there unless you are White and well-connected. In Los Angeles County, less than 1 in 5,000 people have the authorization to carry a concealed weapon.”

Regarding all matters involving the Second Amendment and other significant pro-liberty problems, the Kentucky congressman remains the most morally upright member of Congress. Republicans can look up to Massie as a role model.

Since his election in 2012, Massie has been a rock of reason and, in many ways, taken the place of former congressman Ron Paul. We can only hope that additional GOP leaders will follow Massie’s lead and restore some sanity to Washington, DC politics.

  1. Gun registration was used a long time ago in Germany. The government said that it is only used to identify who has guns. After everyone complied, they came back and took their guns away. Now who did that? Hitler! So now Biden and the Democrats want todo that here.
Don’t let them get away with this.

    1. The LARGEST PROBLEM with Joe is that he’s POTUS and he’s damaging America by the thought or lack thereof!

  2. AGAIN, This has nothing to do with GUNS! It has to do with people who have access to guns that should never have the capability to pull the trigger!!!!!!! I’ve had guns my entire life and the damn things are loaded, but they’ve never gone off by themselves, you must pull the trigger, it’s wise to know what you’re aiming at and in the event of a miss, you should know where it would stop!

  3. Don’t control something that is TOTALLY INERT on its own. Find out what is going on with the individual who picks it up and puts it in motion.
