President Joe Biden advocated for gun storage regulations, a ban on “high capacity” magazines, and the right to bring legal action against handgun manufacturers for their products’ illegal usage.

Throughout his time in the White House, Biden has consistently pushed for the right to sue gun manufacturers for the illegal use of firearms, which was a major part of his platform for gun control during his candidacy.
For example, Breitbart News covered a presidential campaign stop in South Carolina on February 24, 2020, during which Joe Biden threatened to “take you down” and made reference to gun makers.
After citing the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA), which shields gun manufacturers from baseless lawsuits when the firearms in question were lawfully manufactured and sold, he made this claim.
During his February 19, 2024, campaign stop in Las Vegas, Biden promised to work toward repealing PLCAA in order to expose gun manufacturers to a range of legal actions.
His statement read, “The first thing I’m going to do as president is strive to get rid of that, and it’s going to be hard.” He acknowledged that giving “gun manufacturers… a loophole that does not allow them to be sued for the carnage they are causing” was a “mistake.”
Biden’s gun bans and control are absolutely Unconstitutional and won’t stand. Yes, Joe; you could have a cannon back in the day. The 2A says ‘bear arms’ with no restrictions. The only barriers to owning a cannon, shot, powder, gun carriage and caisson were time, distance and $$$.
