In case you haven’t heard, the American left really wants you to plunk down $60,000 or more to buy yourself an electric. Pete Buttigieg, Joe Biden, Jen Psaki and Stephen Colbert have all noted recently that buying an expensive electric car will fix any problems you’re having due to high gas prices.
Just drive an electric car, peasants! They’re also adamant in lying to everyone about the nature of electric cars, as noted in this meme.
These rich liberal boys’ toys are hyped as “good for the environment” because they don’t use any fossil fuels. But nothing can change the fact that electric cars have to be recharged using the electric grid, which is primarily coal powered.
And in states like California, where they’re stupidly trying to switch to “green energy,” they’re now telling electric car owners to not charge their vehicles from 4 to 9 p.m. every day. Why not? Because the “green” electric grid of solar panels and windmills does not provide enough electricity for everyone’s homes.
Why anyone would put these people in charge of a state, let alone a country, is a big mystery.

IF they were really interested in “Green Energy” – they would start drilling for all the natural gas we have in this country right now. There is said to be enough to sustain this country for a few hundred years. By the time it runs out they should have been using the best alternative fuels they can come up with for a long time. Using LNG gives us /them/ time to develop these alternative energy sources properly instead of rushing into it like they did with the CFL bulbs – which were a colossal mistake. It is also pretty inexpensive, quick and easy to convert the car you are driving right now over to LNG. Many city vehicles like buses – garbage trucks – police cars are already using it. Forklifts have been run with LNG for decades because the exhaust is nontoxic and safe for indoor use. Not to mention the energy independence it gives us. There is no valid excuse for not doing this – it is a win win. But as someone said a long time ago. “All the oil is in Texas but the dipsticks are in D.C.”.

Are they too stupid to know that it takes fossil fuel to power those stupid electric cars, and most all that is electric. We don’t want your Green New Deal. We can’t afford it.
I read a report about a public EV charging station akin to a gas station. Just something to think about. They were talking about how an EV can get a charge that will last up to 200 miles in about 15 minutes. That is with the fastest chargers available today. The larger EV cars have a 400-mile range and will take 1/2 hour to charge with these “superchargers”. Now imagine 5-10 cars waiting in line to be charged. When you are home – probably no problem – but when traveling? We have all put into gas stations off the freeways and sat in long lines. How about for people fleeing a hurricane or other natural disaster imagine those lines then and the time you will be waiting. There are over 100,000,000 cars in the U.S today. Biden & Buttigieg just told us to ease the pain at the gas pump we should all buy EV’s. Again – there are 100,000,000 cars in the U.S. – to date about 6,000,000 EV’s have been produced worldwide and 2,000,000 of those are in China. So where the hell are Americans supposed to buy these EV’s Joe? Naturally supply and demand will kick in and so only the extremely wealthy – the entitled – the elitist will be able to even compete to buy one. The rest of us will be on the bicycle – bus or Birkenstocks. That’s the BBB – Build Back Better – promised on the campaign trail?
We are not equipped to go completely green! It makes no sense to push this, but it’s amazing that people are buying this BS. I needed a new car so I bought a hybrid which does give some green help, but I won’t be stranded because it uses gas when electricity alone won’t go the trick.

Coal is the worst pollutant of all. the leftover part as coal is burned is poisonous and in many areas where coal is burned the leftover got into the water and poisoned it. And to produce electricity for electric cars, you have to use coal, oil, gas, water, and solar and wind are not everywhere so they can not help if everyone got an electric car plus how much would it raise a person’s electric bill as opposed to gas or diesel engines So electric cars do not help with being clean green energy
