The more that we learn about the Uvalde, TX school shooting and the failures of the police department there, the worse it gets. Remember on the first day when the shooting happened, and everyone was applauding the heroism of the cops? Yeah, it didn’t really go down that way.
The video from inside the school hallway has finally been released, and it is pretty horrifying. The cops stood outside in the hallway for an hour and 17 minutes while the shooter was inside a classroom murdering kids and a teacher. A group of four police officers initially turned around and ran away when the shooter started firing at them.
At one point during the excruciating hour-plus in which parents were prevented from saving their kids, one of the cops (shown in this meme) lazily uses some hand sanitizer while children are being murdered. Phew! Wouldn’t want to get germs on your hands while children are being murdered a few feet away.
We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again now: If children are being killed in a school and you have a gun on you – whether you’re a cop or a civilian – it’s gunfight time. You don’t get to stand around in that scenario.
Uvalde police need to be prosecute first fire everyone of them they were accompaniistsxin there they didnt have the balls to go in the useless pieces of shit swore to protect and serve that doesnt mean protwct the criminals
All police officers or cowards from that police department should lose there qualified immunity and all the people that lost ones need to sue them personally take there pensions,homes and all of there assets. It’s all about officer safety not public safety.
Are the officers making any statements about their dereliction of duty that day? It’s certainly all there for everyone to see… What on earth were they thinking??? Or not thinking…
Sounds like they were trained on the west coast, where police run away and give criminals their precinct.
