Admit It – The Free AK-47’s in Ukraine Are Tempting, Right?

Someone went and made a meme that pretty much sums up the sentiments of all of us on the political right. A free, fully automatic AK-47? “I could be a Ukrainian for a day for that deal!”

Unfortunately for Ukrainian President Zelensky, his plan to arm his civilian population to resist the Russians was implemented after it was already too late. At last check, the Ukrainian government had only given out something like 10,000 rifles. This is a good reminder of why the Second Amendment is so important here in the USA.

75% of the firearms in the entire world are owned by American civilians. That’s a pretty good deterrent for any bad guys that think it would be a good idea to invade the good ol’ USA. There won’t be some delay while the government tries to hand out firearms to us, because we already have most of them.

Meanwhile, we’re still trying to drum up some sort of interest in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, but we’re drawing a blank. This little conflict in Eastern Europe sure did knock coronavirus out of the headlines, didn’t it? What do you suppose the next “crisis” will be to try to distract us from Joe Biden’s failures?
