Whoever Captured This Liz Cheney Photo Deserves a Meme Award

In case you missed the great news this past week, House Republicans voted to kick ultraliberal Liz Cheney (R-WY) out of her position as chair of the Republican Conference. Cheney’s Trump Derangement Syndrome was her downfall, although she was a handful of other problems for the GOP as well.

We can’t help but laugh at this photograph with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) trying to rub away his ice-cream headache as Cheney is talking on the microphone in the foreground. Ugh! He’s got a Liz Cheney hangover.

Cheney, of course, was supposed to be focused on fundraising for the GOP and keeping everyone on board with messaging for the 2022 midterms. This was literally her only job.

Instead, every time she opens her mouth, she can’t help but blather about the Bad Orange Man who makes her cry and haunts her dreams. Allow us to just break out our checkbooks for you there, Liz.

The GOP did the right thing in giving her the boot, and now was the time to do it. Let’s get the dead weight out of the way so that the Democrats get steamrolled in 2022.
