This Must Be What it’s Like for Europeans to Visit America

Full disclosure: The last Star Wars movie that we watched was in 2005. We haven’t seen any of the new woke garbage ones directed by that Disney girl, ever since George Lucas ruined our childhood with the prequels. Prequel 3 was that one where the two dudes did that sword fight in a lava thing, right? (That was Star Wars and not Harry Potter… right?)

Anyway, this meme went viral over the last two weeks for no particular reason, and we got a chuckle out of it. There’s literally no reason why this meme would be getting so many shares, suddenly, out of the blue, on social media. There’s no underlying joke and no pop culture reference and no news story that’s even vaguely related to it.

It doesn’t even follow the dialogue from Attack of the Clones, where these frames come from. But that’s not the point…

Millions of people just got a kick out of it for some reason and started sharing the meme like wildfire.

The funniest part to us around the Facts Not Memes Mobile Headquarters is the smug look in the kid’s face in panel 3 of the meme. That’s the “No, I’m not a cop… I’m just an American” look, and it is the perfect look to flash your gun-deficient European friends.
