If there’s anything we can all agree on at this point, it’s that President Donald Trump is not a normal politician. Instead of only making rehearsed appearances, Trump stands out as a counter-puncher. And to be as fair as we possibly can about this, sometimes this approach works — and sometimes it doesn’t.
Just a quick example — it’s a good thing that the President can go on Twitter and talk about the roaring economy, the steps he’s taken to make America safer, and the rest of his overlooked accomplishments. It’s a great counter-weight to a mainstream media that will always either ignore the good news, or at the very least downplay it.
It’s a bad thing, however, when the President interrupts the most entertaining in-fighting between Democrats by uniting them against him. Telling congresswomen to go back to their own country was definitely an oversight.
So, in the interest of keeping crazy leftists as far away from the White House as humanely possible, we’re going to suggest a different approach. All President Trump has to do to explain to America how crazy his political opponents are is to just give them a platform. The “Squad” won’t even condemn Al Qaeda. Let’s be honest: AOC, Tlaib, and the rest are Trump’s best assets. Let them talk.
