Promises Kept: Trump Deports Gang That Slaughtered Laken Riley

The Biden border disaster just keeps adding victims—and now, it’s hitting home in the ugliest way possible. The brothers and roommate of illegal alien Jose Ibarra—the Venezuelan national and Tren de Aragua gang member who brutally murdered nursing student Laken Riley—are finally being deported. But the real question is: why were they here in the first place?

Let’s not forget: 22-year-old Laken Riley was out for a jog near the University of Georgia campus in February 2024 when she was savagely beaten to death. Her killer, Jose Ibarra, had been released into the U.S. interior by Biden’s Department of Homeland Security—despite having no legal right to be here and despite there being more than 8,000 detention beds available.

Now, months after that preventable tragedy, the rest of his illegal gang-connected household is being rounded up—but not before one of them managed to plead guilty to possessing a fake green card while investigators were actively looking into the murder.

Diego “Gocho” Ibarra, another alleged Tren de Aragua thug, just got four years in federal prison for possessing a fraudulent green card. Once he’s done, he’ll be handed over to ICE. His brother, Argenis “Meny” Ibarra, and their roommate Rosbeli “La Gorda” Flores-Bello, have also admitted to using fake IDs and are finally set to be deported.

These three—like Jose—had already entered the country illegally multiple times. So why were they living freely in a Georgia apartment complex until a young woman had to die before anyone acted?

Here’s the uncomfortable truth: Biden’s broken border policies put Americans in danger. His administration chose parole and “no space” excuses over enforcing the law. Now a bright, young nursing student is gone—and her parents are living every family’s worst nightmare.

President Trump said it best: “They’ve had a miserable period of time.” And all because our own government chose to prioritize open borders over the safety of its own citizens.
