“I Reclaim My Time” is This Democrat’s Favorite Catch Phrase

The hearing on Capitol Hill this week with Attorney General Bill Barr was the most childish waste of taxpayer money that we’ve seen in a long time. Not because of anything the Attorney General did, but because of the Democrats’ scripted antics.

Every single Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee would ask Barr a loaded question (or just outright falsely smear him).

Then, when Barr would try to answer the question, the Democrat would screech, “I’m reclaiming my time.”

Unless Barr was being questioned by a Republican, he never got an opportunity to respond to a question. Every Democrat on the committee pulled the “I’m reclaiming my time” stunt against the Attorney General.

World champion sprinter and committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) actually scolded Bill Barr for trying to answer a question at one point.

Barr took most of it in stride, but it was a total farce. One of Barr’s best lines during the hearing was when he told one of the Democrats, “This is a hearing. I thought I was supposed to be heard.”

He mostly wasn’t heard, though, because Democrats are like children.
