In relation to his federal firearms prosecution, Hunter Biden and his attorneys are currently requesting a fresh trial.
Only one week after the defense team withdrew their original request, the president’s son’s attorneys resubmitted it this week, asking for a new trial.
Hunter faced three felony charges related to gun ownership while under the influence of drugs. He made a not-guilty plea.
In October 2018, a jury found Hunter Biden guilty on all three charges of lying on a background check form when buying a handgun. For two weeks, he also unlawfully owned the rifle.
The maximum prison sentence for two of the crimes is about ten years, and the maximum for the third count is five years.
According to federal sentencing guidelines, he may receive a term of more than a year in jail, even if the maximum punishment is not applicable. However, the judge also had the option to give him a longer or shorter sentence.
The maximum fine for each count is $250,000. The sentencing date is still pending.

In 2010 James Comey left the FBI and went to work for Lockheed Martin. In 2010 Lockheed Martin was awarded several huge government contracts signed off on by Clinton. In 2010 James Comey was paid $6,000,000 in salary and bonuses by Lockheed Martin. Oddly, in 2011 Comey left Lockheed Martin and went back to his what? $200,000/yr FBI job. WHY?? Why would anyone leave a job that had paid so lucratively in the first year, unless as the Brit’s say “He knew he’d had his chips”. There would not be another $6,000,000 forthcoming? Was that some kind of back door payoff from Clinton to Comey to in effect buy the FBI? When you look at the FBI’s track record from that point forward it would sure appear to be so. And she knows how to “play the game” in D.C. None of this has ever been investigated. When HRC was campaigning against Trump – Obama went as far as having Haitian protesters who lined the route into the venues HRC would be speaking at removed. Obama also ordered Haitian ships with refugees turned around at sea and if Haitians reached our shopres they were immediately deported. What happened to “Wet Foot/Dry Foot”? If Hunter was not a Biden but just anybody, this misdemeanor would have never come to light. On the other side of the coin, you can trash a government building, endanger it’s inhabitants and they aren’t sure if it was a punishable enough offense to stop someone from running for re-election? Suggestion:. Permanently abolish the National Firearms Act, the Brady Bill and other registration, background, purchase and possession laws for firearms, backdate the abolishments to before Hunters incidents, let the crack whore go free as well as anyone charged with any firearm offenses other than murder or robbery from the backdate time forward.
