The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), under President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, let an illegal alien gang boss into the United States after he crossed the southern border. His home country sought him for murder.
He first came to the United States from Mexico in September 2023, close to San Ysidro, California. He was a 29-year-old gang boss from Colombia.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials took the gang boss into custody after the Border Patrol gave him a Notice to Appear (NTA) before a federal immigration judge.
The Colombian government has confirmed that he is the leader of Colombia’s Las Colinas gang.
Two days later, Border Patrol officers first saw the gang leader. Two days later, ICE released the gang boss into the United States interior on his own recognizance. In his home country of Colombia, people want to arrest him for murder, aggravated theft, and selling guns.
On July 31, ICE officers in College Park, Maryland, arrested the gang leader after he had lived in the United States for about 10 months. They’re still holding him until they can send him back to Colombia.
The person in charge of Biden and Harris’s DHS, Alejandro Mayorkas, is in charge of the large Catch and Release network that the government uses to let millions of people into the United States.
