Apparently, Questioning Stephen Paddock is Racist

The recent mass shooting in Las Vegas left Americans two things: grief and questions. What motivation would a 64-year-old man with no prior history of violence have to do ruthlessly gun down hundreds of people during a country music festival?

Of course, the very first thing the liberal media seemed to zone in on during the immediate aftermath (other than the Second Amendment) was the fact that the identified suspect was a white male. But that’s not what has most skeptics confused.

Tweets like this suggest that taking this position is racist, even though most mass killing events over the past few years in the United States have been committed by self-identified Islamic radicals. Perpetrators have been of Arab as well as European descent, so anyone with half a brain understands that ideology is a factor while race really isn’t.

What we’re seeing here is a classic case of projection — the left wants conservatives to be racist.

Authorities in Las Vegas are still gathering information as to Paddock’s motive, which has proven difficult due to his past. In the meantime, Americans should withhold judgement and allow law enforcement agencies to do their jobs.

Unfortunately, we see leftists on social media wanting to jump to conclusions already.
