You would think the memes comparing radical left-wing rioters to America’s Greatest Generation would have died off by now, but the leftists responsible apparently need as much validation as possible.
Now, we’ve talked a lot about how comparing the U.S. Armed Forces to Antifa is as dishonest as it is dishonorable to the country’s fallen heroes. Yes, the U.S. Army shot and killed actual Nazis — during a legally declared war against a tyrannical regime threatening America’s closest allies and their freedom.
But this image takes it one step further into Idiotville, because that’s not even an American plane in the picture.
The individuals in the image belong to the U.K.’s Royal Air Force. Granted these units saw plenty of action against Hitler’s forces, but again: not exactly the same as throwing bricks at people you disagree with.
If Antifa and their sympathizers need to dig this deep for validation, they might want to reconsider their behavior.
