This is a particularly disturbing trend coming from the left, and it’s a message most progressive social media pages appear to be lock-step in spreading.
Recently, President Donald Trump called out North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un in front of the entire world for hits erratic behavior — something that you would expect most people to be on the same page with. After all, the so-called “Hermit King” practically enslaves his own people, and routinely issues credible threats to American allies in the region.
If you look at this political cartoon, however, you see the artist essentially defending the North Korean despot and suggesting Trump is a bully.
While American progressives might certainly feel this way, it’s safe to assume citizens in South Korea and Japan don’t share the same sentiment.
It’s a very good thing that America’s nuclear arsenal dwarfs anything North Korea’s military can muster. This not only makes America safer, but also helps the White House maintain a strong military presence and keep our commitments to our allies in east Asia.
