One of the weirdest stories to come out of Congress in recent weeks – and that’s setting the bar pretty high – was Congressman Madison Cawthorn’s claims that some of his political idols had invited him to cocaine-fueled orgies as soon as he arrived in DC. Maybe that’s true and maybe it’s not, but… uh… who invites a person in a wheelchair to an orgy anyway?
Look, we’re not saying that cocaine-fueled orgies don’t happen in Congress. We have no proof either way. We’re just saying that if someone were to have a cocaine-fueled orgy in Congress, Madison Cawthorn might not be at the top of the invite list.
We’re not trying to be mean or anything, we’re just… okay, we’re being mean, and we can’t stop laughing about this story. And whoever posted this meme of a fake sign in the halls of Congress did a great job by putting Kevin McCarthy’s signature on it.
McCarthy supposedly had a long talk with Cawthorn and told him to get his act together, so that makes it even funnier still.

McCarthy is wishy-washy like McConnell. Figures, a couple of Mcs screwing up things. They both swore that the election was one of the most secure elections ever, so the stared at the wall paper along with all their charges while the demorats stole the country out from under them.
