2020 is going to go down as one of the most bizarre presidential election years in modern history. The fact that Joe Biden is trying to run a campaign from his basement isn’t helping.
Look at the energy of President Donald John Trump these days. The guy is everywhere, once again. He had campaign events and rallies in Tacoma, Wichita and other cities this week. He’s always on the go. He was in Yuma, AZ just the other day.
Joe Biden, by contrast, has traveled less than 100 miles total since March for a single campaign stop in Pennsylvania. (But think of all the money he’s saving on airfare!)
Trump has also answered something like 700% more questions than the combined Biden/Harris ticket this summer. Biden and Harris don’t allow reporters to ask them any questions when they do bother to have an event together.
And now with the “virtual” national convention of the Democrats drawing 1,700 web viewers on day one, and less than 1,500 on day two, it’s hard to even tell if they’re running a campaign? Is this even real?
As much as we would love to see it happen, there won’t be any Trump-Biden debates this year. No way. Never happening.
