When Did Rock Stars Become Such Incredible Sissies?

Remember that (fake) stunt in the 1980s when Ozzie Osbourne pretended to bite the head off of a bat? Sure, it was completely fake, but it was also pretty hardcore. A lot of people believed it was real, because that was how rock stars were in the 1980s. Even in the 1990s, we had the scrawny lead singers of different bands publicly challenging each other to fist fights. What happened to these rockers?

If you missed the latest cancel culture update this week (because there were so many of them), the guitarist for Mumford & Sons was kicked out of the band for… *checks notes*… reading a book. Winston Marshall said something kind about journalist Andy Ngo’s new book about Antifa, so the Twitter rage mob attacked him.

Rather than telling the liberal mob to go jump in a lake, Marshall issued a sniveling, groveling, whiny apology… and then got kicked out of his own band anyway. How far we’ve fallen as a nation of rockers.

The lesson, as always: Never, ever apologize to the mob. Mentally ill SJW commies don’t accept apologies. They only use apologies as evidence against you in your public show trial. At least you can go out with your dignity intact if they still cancel you!
