Weird: Kamala Harris Washed WHAT In A Bathtub?

Last week, the vice president told a voter in Savannah, Georgia, that she had to wash so many collard greens for a Christmas party that she did it in the tub.

“Every year on Christmas Eve, a friend of mine had a party, and she always asked me to make the greens for it. I’m not kidding when I say I’ll make so many veggies I’ll have to wash them all in the bathtub. I’m being honest with you.”

Harris then told the voter her recipe, which they seemed to like.

“You cut up the bacon and add it to the pot first to get the fat going. Then you add the garlic, chili peppers, a lot of water, and a little chicken stock. Let it cook for a while before adding the greens. After that, right? You start that and add all the flavors. Then I add the greens and let them sit for a couple of hours. After that, I add vinegar and, to cheat, a little Tabasco.”

“That’s how I do my greens,” she said in the end.

People usually think of the American south when they hear the word “collard greens.” Based on WSAV:

“Most Americans now think of collard greens when they think of the American south and the slave trade in Africa. The Encyclopedia also says that a lot of food writers agree that the Irish and Germanic people who lived in the South liked spring greens, but people of African descent really started the “green craze.”

Some people on social media said the story wasn’t true and that she made it up to make herself seem more personable. Others brought up the Seinfeld episode where Kramer makes a salad while showering.
