We May as Well Laugh at the Derek Chauvin Trial Now…

The mainstream media is doing its steadfast best to completely ignore what’s happening in the Derek Chauvin “trial” over the drug overdose death of George Floyd. Otherwise, most sane people would realize that this stupid spectacle should never have gone to trial in the first place.

In addition to having a lethal dose of fentanyl in his system, George Floyd also tested positive for cannabis, norfentanyl and meth when he died. Oh, and he tested positive for COVID, as this endlessly re-memed Leonardo DiCaprio photo reveals.

So far, every tactic that the prosecution has used against former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin has served to prove that there’s no evidence that Chauvin “murdered” George Floyd. It kind of makes you wonder if Chauvin’s defense lawyer is even going to have to do anything.

From showing police body cam video that revealed that Chauvin’s knee was on George Floyd’s shoulder to having witnesses admit that Floyd was a heavy drug user, every day of the trial has revealed new evidence that the defense could have used to get Chauvin released from the charges. It also kind of makes wonder if the prosecution isn’t deliberately throwing the case, because they know what will happen next.
