Buffet’s 20% is a jaw-dropping return, so how could Nancy Pelosi be doing three and a half times better than that?
Well, sure enough, part time day trader Nancy Pelosi has made a 69% annual return on her stock trades over the past few decades. Her husband has made some remarkably timed stock purchases over the years as well.
In fact, Paul Pelosi – fresh off his alleged Napa Valley drunk driving adventure – purchased up to $5 million in Nvidia stocks recently. Coincidentally, that was just weeks before the House of Representatives was set to vote on a big chip stock subsidy bill, which will no doubt make Nvidia’s stock price go up dramatically.
Paul’s perfectly timed purchase has raised so many eyebrows, because of the obvious “insider trading” nature of it, that he sold his Nvidia stocks at a huge loss this week. Too bad. Normally the Pelosi’s always pick winners.
