January 20, 2025. Donald Trump walks back into the Oval Office and signs 26 executive orders before dinner.
That wasn’t a statement. It was a warning shot.
One year later, the results are in. And they’re not close.
The Border: From Catastrophe to Locked Down
Remember when they said it couldn’t be done? That you can’t just “close” a border?
Border crossings dropped 93 percent. December saw roughly 6,400 apprehensions along the southern border. Under Biden, that was a slow Tuesday morning.
DHS removed over 622,000 illegal aliens. Another 1.9 million self-deported—turns out when you enforce the law, people notice. The wall construction Biden halted? Back underway.
“Month after month, we are delivering results that were once thought impossible,” said DHS Secretary Kristi Noem. “The most secure border in history.”
The people who spent four years calling border enforcement “racist” and “impossible” have gotten very quiet.
The Economy: Defying Every Expert
They promised tariffs would spike inflation. Crash the economy. Start trade wars we couldn’t win.
Wrong. Wrong. And wrong.
Fourth quarter GDP growth projected at 5.3 percent. Core inflation over the last three months? 1.6 percent. Car prices, hotel rates, airfare, gas—all down from Biden’s disaster numbers.
Blue-collar workers saw their biggest wage gains in years. Factory workers up $1,300. Construction up $1,826. Miners up $3,336.
The stock market hit 37 record highs. The S&P. The Dow. All-time territory, repeatedly.
Trump told everyone what he was going to do. Then he did it. The “experts” who predicted catastrophe are hoping you forgot their confident predictions.
Trade Deals: America Wins Again
The EU deal alone should have won headlines for a month. Instead: crickets.
Europe agreed to buy $750 billion in American energy. Invest $600 billion in America. Pay a 15 percent tariff for market access. The biggest trade deal in history—and Trump closed it at his Scottish golf course because of course he did.
Add Japan. The UK. Vietnam. Philippines. Indonesia. Malaysia. Cambodia. Countries representing 57 percent of global GDP came to the table and made deals favorable to America.
Then came the drug prices.
Trump’s Most-Favored-Nation deals with pharmaceutical companies slashed costs across the board. Ozempic dropped from $1,000 to $350 a month. Wegovy from $1,350 to $350. Zepbound from $1,086 to $346.
Fourteen major pharma companies signed on. The ultimatum was simple: match the lowest prices in the world or face tariffs. They folded.
Eight Wars Ended or De-escalated
Read that again. Eight.
Israel-Hamas. Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda. Armenia and Azerbaijan. India and Pakistan. Thailand and Cambodia. Egypt and Ethiopia. Iran and Israel. Serbia and Kosovo.
Some of these conflicts had been running for decades. India and Pakistan are nuclear powers that were actively shooting at each other. Trump threatened tariffs on both. Peace deal in 24 hours.
The Israel-Hamas war that everyone said was unsolvable? All 20 living hostages released. Ceasefire signed in Egypt with Trump standing next to Arab leaders who’d been told for years this was impossible.
Venezuela’s dictator Maduro? Captured in a military operation without a single American casualty.
María Corina Machado handed Trump her Nobel Peace Prize “in gratitude for his extraordinary leadership.”
The Big Beautiful Bill
The 2017 tax cuts? Permanent now.
Tipped workers can deduct up to $25,000. Overtime workers get $12,500. Americans could see an extra $1,000 on their spring refunds.
The bill funds the wall. Funds deportations. Creates investment accounts for American kids born through 2028 with $1,000 seed money from Treasury.
This is legacy legislation. The kind of thing that reshapes the country for a generation.
Protecting Women and Kids
Men out of women’s sports. Executive order signed with Riley Gaines watching.
Chemical and surgical “transition” procedures for minors? Banned from federal funding.
The trans ideology machine that captured every institution for a decade just hit a wall. A big, beautiful wall.
Making America Healthy Again
The food pyramid that’s been making Americans sick for 50 years? Inverted.
Whole milk back in schools after Obama banned it.
Childhood vaccine schedule under review—because maybe the country recommending twice as many shots as Denmark should ask some questions.
RFK Jr. and his MAHA agenda are just getting started. The processed food industry is panicking.
The Scorecard
Border: Secured.
Economy: Booming.
Inflation: Crushed.
Trade: Winning.
Wars: Ending.
Taxes: Cut.
Women’s sports: Protected.
Kids: Safer.
One year. 228 executive orders. Promises made, promises kept.
They said he couldn’t do it. They said it would be chaos. They said the adults needed to be in charge.
The adults are in charge now. And America’s winning again.
