The results in Virginia last Tuesday will definitely have an impact on what happens in next year’s midterms, 2024 and beyond! You might even think of last Tuesday’s results as a harbinger of what the Democrats can expect in the next few elections.
Now that they have proven every point that Donald Trump ever made about the swamp, the Democrats can look forward to being shoved aside so that the adults can run the country again.
And they know it.
Their disappointment, especially over Terry McAuliffe’s loss in Virginia especially, is so thick you could cut it with a knife.
They all love Terry McAuliffe. He’s Bill Clinton’s best friend, after all, and has been a fixture in D.C. swamp politics for 30 years. For McAuliffe to be beaten by Glenn Youngkin, who nobody had even heard of a year ago, is pretty amazing.
So, we totally agree with Kamala – what happened on Tuesday is going to reverberate in American politics for a long, long time!
