This is the message you would be getting if Facebook was actually honest about why it censors your content.
Now, Facebook Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has openly admitted that his company and others like it suffer from a liberal bias — it’s not a secret. Despite this, the CEO maintains that he strives to treat conservative users and pages fairly. But, as we saw with the recent purge that saw hundreds of right-leaning pages erased from existence, this is obviously not the case.
Facebook, and virtually all over major social media companies, have come to accept the same role as the mainstream media. In fact, they are often working in tandem — with Facebook promoting left-wing outlets like CNN and ABC News, and doing everything in its power to turn your attention away from alternative voices.
Fortunately, with the wild west nature of the internet, this is getting harder and harder for Facebook and its ilk to get away with. At the end of the day, Facebook can always be replaced. Lately, it seems like they’re just one bad day away form that actually happening.
