Poverty, homelessness, and income inequality are some of the most popular topics for Democrats, yet all of these things seem painfully endemic to areas they themselves control.
The image on the right might be a clear case of hyperbole, but when you consider the conditions that residents face in places like Chicago, Detroit, and parts of New York City, it actually makes sense.
Detroit and Chicago are two of the most obvious examples, considering both municipalities were once considered hubs of economic activity. Booming factories one dominated both areas. Now, with private businesses virtually taxed out of existence and criminal entities allowed to operate unchecked, both once-proud cities currently stand as shadows of their former selves.
You would think that, after decades of horrific mismanagement on behalf of local government officials, residents would be privy to the scam that is progressivism. Unfortunately, the Democratic Party has been able to escape this level of scrutiny by casting their ideological opponents as racists, or some other form of bigot.
