One group of people that doesn’t get enough credit for assisting with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s remarkable string of victories is the Republicans who control the state legislature. DeSantis doesn’t have to push for new regulations or issue executive orders. The legislature is passing bills for him to sign into law, making lasting changes for the people of Florida that can’t be undone if some Democrat ends up in the Governor’s office in a few years.
It seems like it was only a few days ago when we all started talking about Disney. The Disney corporation, headquartered in California, had a conniption fit about the new Florida law that bans purple-haired weirdos from talking about their weird weekends with kindergarteners.
Disney said it was now their main corporate goal to overturn that law. And for meddling in Florida state laws, Heavy D and the Boys slapped Disney to the curb so fast that it almost makes your head spin.
They stripped away Disney’s special tax carveout in Florida without even pausing to catch their breath. It’s refreshing to see the GOP actually do something for a change!
Disney need Florida! But Florida doesn’t need Disney! So Disney can sent their weirdo back to California! All Florida got to do is take over the park. And run it themselves! Change the name to Six Flags over Florida. Then hired people with common sense! Do background testing, polygraph testing, drugs testing, until there enough to run the park!
