The Only Way Californians Would Welcome Trump

In the middle of March, shortly after announcing yet another round of staffing changes, President Donald Trump flew to California to inspect prototypes for his proposed wall along the U.S.-Mexican border.

Multiple private contractors have been enlisted for the effort. While Trump himself hasn’t necessarily picked a favorite, he has simply stated he prefers “the taller, the better.” You can probably guess how the left reacted to this.

Leading up to the trip, pundits debated over whether or not Trump’s mere presence in the bluest state in the Union would provoke violent demonstrations in the vein of Antifa — a radical leftist group which has proven to maintain a notable presence there. As Trump has noted in the past, however, the majority of the state’s voting districts did in fact cast a red ballot in 2016, with the bulk of the left-leaning population residing along the coast.

But, perhaps no one had a more humorous take than Fox News contributor Dennis Miller, who dished out the quote to the left in a direct reference to unconstitutional sanctuary cities.
