At this point, with President Donald Trump exonerated by Robert Mueller’s report, it’s time to refer to the Democratic resistance as what it really is — a coup.
Despite the fact that even the biased Mueller was forced to conclude that the Trump campaign did not in any way shape or form collude with the Russian government for whatever reason, several Democrats in Congress are trying to move forward with impeachment anyway. Why? Because why not — they have based their entire political capitol on this pledge.
We’re not just talking about a few radicals either. Of course Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants Trump impeached. The reason really isn’t that important. The danger is that the Democratic Party’s leadership has begun to openly embrace these same positions.
So remember: when the Democrats refer to themselves as “the resistance”, they’re being completely serious.
