The Gun Stats the Left Really Doesn’t Want You to See

With the gun control debate managing to stay in the headlines across all platforms, chances are you’ve heard plenty about how countries like the United Kingdom and Australia are total paradises where no one gets hurt for any reason.

Of course, you’ll have to pretend that radical Islamic extremists who manage to slip through their borders under the pretense of refugee status haven’t routinely attacked public spaces with bombs and trucks — and in some cases, even guns. Apparently, gun control laws do not have the power to make firearms disappear into the ether of nonexistence.

This chart, taken from a study by the American Enterprise Institute and shared by Daily Wire chief Ben Shapiro, shows you everything you need to know about the relationship between guns and violent crime in the United States. Despite nearly constant media attention on statistical anomalies, a rise in gun ownership has been consistent with a drop in violent crime.

This really shouldn’t come as a surprise — conservatives have been arguing this point for decades. Sadly, too few liberals know this correlation even exists. It would probably be a good time to fill them in before they continue to use a bunch of 15-year-olds to take our rights away.
