That’s Not How Business Works…That’s Not How Anything Works

Nothing seems to stir up leftist sympathies quite like class warfare. Before the Democratic Party became obsessed with promoting intersectionality, this was its primary tactic. Of course, that doesn’t mean liberals have ditched it — evidenced by this poorly informed image making rounds on Facebook.

“If people working full-time jobs still need food stamps to get by, they’re not the ones leeching off the government,” the image says. “Their employers are.”

So, according to this image, employers are actively underpaying their own employees to make them more dependent on the welfare state. This mentality has been used to attack virtually all large businesses throughout the country, including Walmart – which supports nearly everything the Democratic Party stands for.

It’s all too common for images like these to pop up from individuals who have little to no understanding of what it’s like to manage a payroll. If workers are underpaid, it’s likely because they’re providing little economic value to the business.

If you think you’re one of these people, just ask yourself: “how replaceable am I?”

Chances are, the answer is “very” if you work in retail or some other similar position.

No one is going around placing a gun to head of these individuals forcing them into slave labor, and no is preventing these individuals from developing more marketable skills.

Take an Econ class.
