Sean Spicer is Not Allowed to Have a Sense of Humor, Apparently

If you didn’t watch the Emmy Awards over the weekend, you were far from alone. The vast majority of Americans made the conscious decision to sit out from the event, which more and more have been doing each year.

The captured tweet to the left is perhaps the most indicative reason why — the event which was once used to commemorate notable artistic performances has devolved into a de facto leftist rally. Even attempts to bring more inclusion into the event, such as having Sean Spicer on set to essentially make fun of himself, are met with scorn and derision.

You would think this rare display of self-deprecation would disarm leftist hostility, but the performance had the opposite effect. Instead, people like Zach Braff decided that Spicer’s mere presence at the event was offensive.

Another day, another example of why Trump won and Clinton lost.
