The Biden-Harris economy hurts American workers a lot, and some of the country’s best job providers are afraid that four more years of these financial policies will destroy the economy for millions of workers.

As vice president, Harris broke a tie vote in favor of trillions of dollars in deficit spending. This helped raise prices to the highest level since the 1970s and early 1980s. The government’s record-high deficit spending is like a cruel, secret tax on the middle class’s future earnings, which is what the American economy is built on. Prices have gone up more than 20% since Biden and Harris took office. Gas, food, and rent have gone up even more.
Because of all that inflation, wages today are almost 4% less than they were in January 2021. This means that Biden and Harris spent a lot of money while American workers lost money.
Lower wages hurt Americans who work and their families, and they put the economy’s long-term health at risk. If people spend 70% of their income on food, housing, and energy, they don’t have much left over to help their families or the community as a whole.
Small companies that depend on customers spending money, like Papa John’s Pizza chain franchisees, are the first to feel the effects of lower real earnings. From there, the economy quickly gets worse.
In her big economic speech in North Carolina, Kamala Harris said that she could fix the economy by putting price controls on goods. This is the same economy that she has been in charge of for almost four years with Joe Biden. Price controls have always made things worse. Instead of fixing what causes inflation, you create fake shortages that raise prices and fuel a black market, making regular people who are just trying to feed their families have a much harder time doing so.
