People Who Don’t Understand Vaccines Probably Should Wear Helmets Outside

The polio vaccine was one of the greatest miracles of modern science. Polio was an infectious disease that used to impact hundreds of thousands of children every year. The disease is almost completely eradicated now. There were just 175 cases of “wild polio” in the entire world in 2019 (and 300+ cases caused by the polio vaccine).

We were all taught about the polio vaccine in school. It really was a modern medical miracle that nearly wiped out polio completely. When’s the last time you even met someone who has had polio? Possibly never.

Since we’re all taught how vaccines, herd immunity and other stuff like that works in school, it’s pretty amazing to see Dr. Anthony Fauci and other people constantly telling us that the rules for viruses and vaccines are completely different suddenly when it comes to COVID.

Fauci claims that we can’t have “herd immunity” until literally everyone on planet earth is vaccinated. He says that anyone who has had COVID (and therefore has antibodies) must still get the vaccine, otherwise no one else’s vaccines will work. This is nuts.

It’s like saying your bike helmet won’t work unless everyone else wears a helmet. (And for the record, we’re not telling you whether or not to take the vaccine: Your body, your choice!)
