NRA Concedes on Bump Stocks, Liberals Hate Them Anyway

The National Rifle Association effectively sided with Democrats like Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer when the lobby group endorsed a ban on “bump stocks,” but it wasn’t enough to placate liberal outrage.

Stephen Paddock, the gunman who killed almost 60 people at a country music festival in Las Vegas, obtained his firearms while jumping through every legal hurdle the federal government threw at him. The weapons he used were entirely legal, though one special modification allowed them to mimic automatic rifles which have been illegal in the United States since the 80s.

In response, the left has since called for a ban on bump stocks — the modification which enabled this lethal capability. In a rare display of compromise, the NRA and prominent conservatives including Ben Shapiro agreed.

One would think liberals would applaud conservatives for swallowing their pride to work with them, but this meme shows exactly the opposite is true.

This should tell us that the progressive left will stop at nothing to disarm law-abiding citizens in the United States, and only a fool believes they will stop at bump stocks.
